Amazonia | Pet-Friendly Treehouse + Outdoor Shower

Welcome to Amazonia, a handcrafted open-air treehouse tucked into the trees of Red River Gorge. This one-of-a-kind glamping retreat is made for adventurous travelers who want something a little wild, wonderfully different, and completely immersed in nature.
Wake up surrounded by the woods, sip coffee among the trees, stretch out on the hammock floor, and spend evenings around the firepit or hanging out on the spacious party patio. After a day exploring the Gorge, rinse off in the private outdoor shower and settle in for a night filled with the sounds of the forest.

Amazonia isn’t a traditional luxury cabin, and that’s exactly the point. It’s a true treehouse-style experience with handcrafted details, rustic charm, open-air spaces, and plenty of personality.

🏡 The Space 🏡

🍳 Kitchenette + Coffee 🍳
The kitchenette is equipped for simple meals and snacks with a small refrigerator, two-burner cooktop, microwave, French press coffee maker, and basic cooking essentials.

🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements 🛏️

• Loft: Queen Bed
• Living Area: Sleeper Sofa

🚻 Bathroom 🚻

• Amazonia includes one full bathroom. Please note that you will need to step outside of the main treehouse space to access the bathroom, and the shower is fully outdoors. The bathroom and shower areas are private and secluded from surrounding views.

🌲 Open-Air Treehouse Experience 🌲

Amazonia is intentionally rustic and open-air. Some areas are not fully insulated, so indoor temperatures can naturally vary with the weather.
Because you are staying directly among the trees, the sights and sounds of nature are part of the experience. Birds, frogs, insects, and other small wildlife may occasionally make an appearance. Routine pest control is performed, but a completely nature-free environment cannot be guaranteed in a true open-air treehouse.
Handcrafted details and minor rustic imperfections are also part of Amazonia’s character.
Due to the ladders, elevation, and outdoor bathroom setup, this property may not be a good fit for travelers with mobility limitations.

🐾 Pet Policy 🐾

Amazonia is dog-friendly with a $100 pet fee covering up to 2 dogs. Please reach out after booking to make sure the pet fee has been applied to your reservation.
Dogs must be crated if left unattended inside the treehouse.

🧺 Starter Essentials 🧺

Fresh linens and towels are provided. We also include an Essential Starter Pack with 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, 3 trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge. Please note that starter supplies are not replenished during the stay.

🔥 Firewood 🔥

Firewood is not provided. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas.

🚗 Parking + Access 🚗

Amazonia is located up a gravel hill, and 4WD is highly recommended for accessing the property.

Trailers are prohibited.
