Our place stands out because of its location. You’re close to Red River Gorge adventure, about 15 minutes from Longbow Boat Dock at Cave Run Lake.
The Alice Rocks property is adjacent to Alice Rocks Nature Preserve, an approximately 250-acre protected natural area with hiking trails, scenic cliff lines, and beautiful wooded surroundings.
It’s also refreshingly convenient. The cottage has easy paved-road access with no AWD or 4WD needed under normal conditions, a short walk to Family Dollar for quick supplies, gravel parking for 3–4 standard vehicles, and trailer parking available with some maneuvering.
This is a great fit for travelers who want adventure nearby without giving up easy access, town conveniences, and room to spread out.

We also include an Essential Starter Pack to make your stay easier, including toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge. Firewood is not provided. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas. Propane is provided for the grill.

Alice Rocks is dog-friendly with a $100 pet fee covering up to 2 dogs. Please reach out to us after booking to ensure this is added on. Dogs must be added to the reservation before arrival, and pets should be crated if left unattended inside the cottage. Unauthorized or undisclosed pets may result in additional fees.

Alice Rocks offers easy access with no AWD or 4WD required under normal conditions.
Gravel parking is available for 3–4 standard vehicles on site. Trailer parking is available next to the cottage, but some maneuvering is required.
