A Frame of Mind | Hot Tub, PacMan Arcade, Starlink Wi-Fi + Pet Friendly

Plan your next getaway at A Frame of Mind, a cozy A-frame retreat where classic cabin charm meets the kind of extras that make a Gorge getaway hard to leave. Tucked into a peaceful wooded setting, this cabin gives you your own private hot tub, spacious deck, firepit, Pac-Man Plus Arcade, and Starlink Wi-Fi, all wrapped up in a laid-back mountain escape that feels just far enough away from everyday life.

Start the morning with coffee out on the deck, spend the afternoon exploring Red River Gorge, then come home for a long hot tub soak, a little friendly Pac-Man competition, dinner on the charcoal grill, and a fire under the stars. With Mount Sterling only about 15 minutes away for groceries, restaurants, and supplies, and Natural Bridge located about 30 minutes away, A Frame of Mind gives you the best of both worlds: a tucked-away cabin feel without being miles from civilization!

🔥 Outdoor Living 🔥
Step outside to enjoy the private hot tub, spacious deck with outdoor furniture, charcoal grill, and firepit with seating; plenty of options for relaxing after a day around the Gorge!
Firewood and charcoal are not provided. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas. Please plan to bring charcoal for the grill.

♨️ Hot Tub Note: The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled between every stay. Because of this, if your arrival falls on a same-day turnover, the hot tub may be cooler than desired at check-in while it comes back up to temperature. If this applies to your reservation, our team will reach out ahead of time so you know what to expect.

🐾 Pet Policy 🐾
A Frame of Mind is dog-friendly with a $100 pet fee covering up to 2 dogs. Dogs only, please.
Please reach out after booking to make sure the pet fee has been applied to your reservation. Dogs must be crated if left unattended inside the cabin.

🧺 Starter Essentials 🧺

We provide an Essential Starter Pack with 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge. Please note that these supplies are provided as a starter amount and are not replenished during your stay, so you may want to bring or purchase additional items for longer visits.

🍂 Seasonal Fall Note 🍂
During fall, leaves are actively dropping throughout the Red River Gorge. Our porches, decks, and outdoor spaces are swept and prepared before arrival, but fresh leaves can accumulate quickly—even shortly after housekeeping has finished. A few leaves on outdoor surfaces are a normal part of staying in the woods during autumn and are not an indication that the property was not cleaned.

🌲 A Note About Nature 🌲
You’re staying in the heart of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and all the nature that comes with them. While our cabins are professionally cleaned and routinely treated for pests, occasional insects and other woodland visitors may still make an appearance—especially during warmer months. This is a natural part of staying in a heavily wooded mountain environment and does not necessarily indicate a cleanliness or pest-control issue.

📷 Security Camera Disclosure 📷
There is exterior camera surveillance on the property. Two cameras face the front door, and two cameras face either direction toward the back of the property. Cameras are exterior-facing only and do not view private or interior spaces.
